Good evening, Honors Choir Families!
I hope you are all doing well, and that
everyone is staying healthy during the beginning of flu season. Please remind
your HC singer to practice good vocal habits, including getting plenty of rest
and drinking lots of water.
A few general announcements for the good of the
entire group:
- Students
should have come home from today’s rehearsal with a burgundy cardigan.
This is for them to keep at home and bring to Honors Choir performances
only.
- We
have a shortage of cardigans in the mid-size range. Consequently, many
students may have made it home with a cardigan that is too large or has
small flaws in it. Please check your child’s cardigan before Saturday and
let me know if either of these is the case.
- We
are in the process of compiling an order to the uniform company. All
students need uniforms that fit them. I will keep you posted with the
latest on updating our uniform stock.
- I
will send out a bulleted email to those families whose students will be
traveling with us to Tan-Tar-A this weekend, as well as making a more
detailed post on our blog (http://cps5honorschoir.blogspot.com/
) later this evening.
- Today
was the deadline for t-shirt orders. We will order extra t-shirts that
will be available for purchase with a t-shirt order form, attached here. In
the case of late orders, we cannot guarantee size request, and will try to
find the closest size to the one requested for your student.
- Next
Tuesday’s rehearsal (October 10) will end at 5:15pm, with pick-up no
later than 5:30pm. Thank you for making this adjustment to
your family’s schedule. We will
continue the normal schedule (4:00-5:15pm) for the remaining rehearsals
this semester.
- If
your student will be absent, late, or need to be picked up before the end
of rehearsal, please give me advance notice of your needs.
- If

We look forward to seeing most of you Saturday
