February 20 Update

February 19, 2018
Good afternoon, Honors Choir Families –

I hope you’ve enjoyed your 4-day weekend, and that you and your loved ones continue to stay warm and well this winter.

A few reminders:

  • The Honors Choir will perform in a collaborative concert to raise money for Columbia children in need of dental care on Tuesday, February 27th. This concert is with the King’s Daughters ensemble. Call time for singers is 6:00pm, performance begins at 7:00pm at First Baptist Church in downtown Columbia.
  • We will not have afternoon rehearsal next week, February 27th due to the performance that evening.
  • I have attached parking suggestions from the organizers of the performance, as well as a map of First Baptist Church. Please note that Honors Choir students will meet on the third floor of the church in the gym area.
  • All Honors Choir singers must arrive in full uniform as outlined in the Honors Choir Handbook. This means black from waist to toe and a white collared shirt. Burgundy cardigans issued to students in October should be worn over the white top, and a gold clip-on tie should be attached to the shirt. If students do not have a gold tie, one will be provided for them.
  • Much more information about our April 6th trip to Kansas City to come in following weeks.
  • If your student will be late, absent, or need to leave early from any Honors Choir function, please notify me in advance.

Have a great week!
