HC Update 11/21

·       Please do NOT drop off your singer BEFORE 3:45 pm.
·       T-shirts will be passed out tomorrow!!! Woo hoo!!!! (If you did not purchase a t-shirt but would like to, we have a few extra in each size that was ordered, youth medium through adult extra-large. They are still $10. Just see me after rehearsal tomorrow or the 29th.)
·       If your singer cannot be there tomorrow, please let me know ASAP!! (All t-shirts not picked up tomorrow will be available on the 29th.)
·       At our rehearsal on Nov. 29th, the Chordbusters’ representative will be at West Middle School at 5:00 pm to sell extra tickets for the Dec. 3rd concert. We will also be passing out the complimentary tickets for each singer’s family. There will be two free tickets for each family, and extra tickets will cost $10. Extra tickets can also be purchased at Missouri Theater the night of the concert.
·       Please remember that your singer will need to have their uniform pieces before Dec. 3rd’s concert. If you are having trouble purchasing uniform pieces, please email ASAP! We are glad to help! (See uniform information below.)
·       Concert December 3rd will be at Missouri Theater with the Chordbusters barbershop choir. Singers will need to be there at 6:15 pm and the concert will begin at 7:00 pm.
·       Concert December 15th, This concert will be at Rock Bridge High School Performing Arts Center, singers need to be there at 6:30 pm and the concert will begin at 7:00 pm. Our singers will be singing the same songs on this concert as the Dec. 3rd concert. The concert at RBHS will be free.
·       Our last rehearsal for 2016 is Dec. 13th, our first one of 2017 is Jan. 10th. Just FYI.
Uniforms
The uniform for concerts is as follow unless otherwise noted:
·       Bottoms: Black skirts with black tights or black pants with black socks
·       Shoes: Black dress shoes
·       Tops: All students will need a white button collared shirt. Students will be provided a burgundy cardigan with a gold neck tie. The white shirt does not need to have a certain arm length; it just simply needs to have a collar that can hold a necktie with a button. This would include button down dress shirts or polo shirts.
·       The cardigans and necktie are property of Columbia Public Schools.
Please contact JoAnna Hoeppner(jhoeppner@cpsk12.org) if purchasing a shirt and pants or a skirt is a problem for you.  We will provide you with a donated uniform or look for a source of alternative funding.  I do not want this to prevent any child who has qualified from participating.
If you have questions or need to report an absence, please feel free to email me: jhoeppner@cpsk12.org or call 214-3610 x11702 and leave a voicemail.  J
Thanks!
