· If possible,
please notify me in advance if your singer will be absent from rehearsal. It is
our hope that all students who auditioned into the group will continue to
participate; however, if conflicts have arisen, please let me know.
· I will be
communicating with the elementary music teachers all over the district as an
additional support to communication to Honors Choir families; however, please
notify me directly with your questions or concerns.
· Weekly rehearsals
are from 4:00-5:15pm. Please do not drop off your singers before 3:45pm, as all
of the Honors Choir directors are coming from different schools around the
district and will not be available to supervise before then. Please pick up
your singer no later than 5:30pm each week.
· Our goal is to
streamline the dismissal process as much as possible. You may either go through
the pick-up line or park your vehicle and walk up to the choir room entrance to
meet your singer. Additional parking is available at the Activity &
Recreation Center (ARC) to the south of the WMS parking lot.
· For safety
purposes, please let me know if your singer will be riding with anyone other
than their parent or guardian.
· Our April
performance date has been pushed back by a week due to a conflict with a
CPS-sponsored trip affecting about half of the Honors Choir singers. Our new
performance date is Tuesday, April 26.
· All communications
sent to the mailing list are also available on our blog: http://cps5honorschoir.blogspot.com/
We look forward to seeing the 2021-22 Honors Choir
again on January 11 at 4:00pm in the West Middle School Choir Room.
