Last chance for KC survey

Dear Honors Choir Families,

This Friday (2/3) is the final day to fill out the survey for the trip to Kansas City in April. One of the reasons I do this is so I can stop sending KC trip emails to families who have a singer who will not be traveling with us. I hate to send unneeded emails. Plus, we are trying to make arrangements for busses, lunches, & dinners. We need all the information so we can plan in advance. We are really close to having all of these in our database. So PLEASE fill out the survey from the link below if you have not already! (Not sure if you filled it out? You can do it again. It won’t hurt.)

Thanks my friends! You all rock!!!

Quick Clarification for KC

A quick clarification about the link that we need you to fill out for the honors choir trip to KC on April 7th:

We need you to fill out the phone number accurately on the form ESPECIALLY if you are picking up your students at West when we get back late that night. There are problems with the times on the email because we don’t know EXACTLY when we’ll get back. So Mr. Battle will use a special program to send out a text to all the phone numbers of those who are picking up their kids at West. He’ll send that text when we get to Rocheport so you have plenty of time to meet us at West when we get there.

We had a question today about cell phones during the trip. Students will need to dress comfortably (HC t-shirts are made for this trip) during the day and bring their black bottoms/socks/shoes and white shirts that they wore for the last concerts for this concert. They may bring small personal items, but be aware that they will be carrying them all day on all our walking from Minsky’s to UMKC and our touring of the Kauffman, and beyond. I would suggest they not bring anything that is going to get in their way of learning, enjoying the day, or performing. Cell phones are permitted, as long as they don’t have them out in a distracting manner. And because I would have to tell my son if he was on the trip, NO POKEMON GO on the trip. Sorry. I promise not to play, too.

Thank you for all your help getting us information about your singers!! We really appreciate all your help!!

Have a great week!!
Ms. Hoeppner  J

·        Shoes: Black dress shoes
·        Tops: All students will need a white button collared shirt. Students will be provided a burgundy cardigan with a gold neck tie. Please contact JoAnna Hoeppner 6(jhoeppner@cpsk12.org) if purchasing a shirt and pants or a skirt is a problem for you.  We will provide you with a donated uniform or look for a source of alternative funding.  I do not want this to prevent any child who has qualified from participating.
