Concert Clarifications

HCàa couple of real quick clarifications:

*I’ve had a few families ask about where and how to buy extra tickets for the honors choir/Chordbusters concert on Dec. 3rd. You can purchase them from Charles Bay at Wilsons Garden Center or call him at 573-529-6821. Each family will receive two complimentary tickets, but extra will cost $10 each.

*The Dec. 15th concert is free and open to families. There will be two other honors groups joining us that evening.

*There are no other concerts for HC in December. There will be two more concerts in April.

Update 11/15

·        NEXT WEEK!!! T-shirts will be here!!! Woo hoo!!!!
·        There is Honors Choir next Tuesday, 11/22. Just let me know if your singer can’t be there. (All t-shirts not picked up next week will be available the next week.)
·        Concert December 3rd will be at Missouri Theater with the Chordbusters barbershop choir. Singers will need to be there at 6:15 pm and the concert will begin at 7:00 pm. Each singer’s family will get 2 comp tickets for this concert. Extra tickets will be $10.
·        Concert December 15th, This concert will be at Rock Bridge High School Performing Arts Center, singers need to be there at 6:30 pm and the concert will begin at 7:00 pm. Our singers will be singing the same songs on this concert as the Dec. 3rd concert. The difference is the Dec. 3rd concert will also have the barbershop group, they will sing the first of the program alone, then our singers will sing, and the two groups will sing a couple of songs together.
·        A HC parent told me today that there is a sale on button up white dress shirts at JC Penney RIGHT NOW!! She got a girl’s blouse for $3.50!!! If you’re singer still needs this you might check it out before they’re all gone. She said both female and male shirts are over there.
·        Our last rehearsal for 2016 is Dec. 13th, our first one of 2017 is Jan. 10th. Just FYI.
*Important Reminder Ahead*
Drop off for choir is 3:45, which is 15 minutes before rehearsal begins. We meet at West Middle School because it’s the most central location for our singers. None of the directors work at West and many times we are just getting to West at 3:45 or right before that. When you drop off your singer before 3:45, there is not always supervision and we fear for the safety of our singers. Also, most Tuesdays there is a middle school choir practicing in the choir room UNTIL 3:45. We cannot get into the room before 3:45. For these reasons, PLEASE do not drop off before 3:45. Thanks so much!!!
If you have questions or need to report an absence, please feel free to email me: jhoeppner@cpsk12.org or call 214-3610 x11702 and leave a voicemail.  J
Thanks!
